Assignment 2: The History of Computers
Now that you understand what computer hardware exists today, it is your job to research how computers have evolved over time as technology has changed.
Directions:
Research the history of computers and develop an informative and creative PowerPoint to show what you know.
Your PowerPoint must include:
- An opening slide with a title and your name
- A minimum of 8 informational slides containing 3 or more bullets of relevant facts
- Photographs on every slide
- Transitions between slides
- A works cited slide containing links to the web sites you obtained your information from
Your research should include these important developments in computers:
- ENIAC Computer
- Transistor Computer
- UNIVAC Computer
- Integrated Circuits
- Microprocessor
A helpful suggestion is to organize your presentation in chronological order

Assignment 3: Buying Parts for a Computer
Your Mission: You have $900 dollars and you need to build a computer that can handle playing videos, gaming, and storing a good amount of files. Using PC Part Picker, Newegg, Amazon, or another well known trusted site create a list of parts needed to build a computer using Microsoft Excel. Your columns should include the type of part, site location/link, quantity of parts, cost of each part, and total cost. The bottom of your spreadsheet should contain the grand total.
